Research

The InCrisis Web site and resources are developed first for parents and second for professionals who will review analyses of information provided by parents and caregivers. InCrisis is also conducting research to improve its services. The InCrisis Website construction and information-processing procedures aspire to and in many cases exceed standards suggested in guidelines and publications by the American Psychological Association.

Standardization and statistical information regarding scales and the logic of InCrisis information processing are intellectual property. Legitimate inquires for purposes of research are welcome. Professional guidance and research pertaining to InCrisis Reports is through agreement with Mentor Research Institute (MRI), a nonprofit 501(c)3.. Research programs are  managed by MRI. The results of  research will not be presented in ways that would allow readers to identify individuals.

Research Associates

InCrisis is currently supporting a continuous research and development program for StepOne.

Mentor Research Institute and InCrisis have recruited nine research associates who are licensed mental health professionals. The role of these research associates is to use StepOne in a clinical practice, recommend improvements and to support an evidence based research program.
